This is what the bike looked like before the make over.

Just prior to sending it off to have the frame raked.

With the frame raked to 34 degrees and a wide glide front end with 4 degrees in the triple tree.  This combination results in about a 4 inch trail which should give good handling.  Amazing what just 10 degrees does.

The front view showing the wide glide front end and new chrome lower legs.  The front brakes aren't on yet.

New headlight and turn signal bar.  Ran the wires from the switches inside the handle bars.  Bought a Dakota Digital gauge off of eBay.  I couldn't put the 3.5" speedo and tach back on.  It has such a clean look up front.     See the picture above.  More parts from J&P Cycle coming soon.

Front and rear wheels and front fender on.  Bringing this picture into AutoCAD and doing some calculations gives a 39 degree rake.  One degree higher than what I ordered.  Well within tolerances.  Cleaned up the wheels using brake fluid.  This was recommended by the place that raked the bike,AMS.  Worked great.  Brings the nice black out again.  Going to use it on the engine too.  Put a new tire up front too.

Like the digital gauge?  Laura doesn't.

Out for a bath in the snow.

I think I need to change the handlebars.  Below is how they are comfortable but they don't look right.  They should be back along the line of the fork like the picture above the picture of the gauge.  Need some ape hangers!  I rewired at the wires at the front.  Too many connectors and wires to fit inside the frame.

Just need to get some spacers for the front wheel, a speedo cable for the digital gauge and the chrome horn housing I just bought on ebay and it will be done.
