Here is an Egret landing on a tree in the back yard in the morning sun.

Here is the same Egret enjoying the morning sun on the tree in the back yard.

First time I've seen an Egret on the wall in the back yard.  He was there for a while, while was painting the back of the house.

After a bit he took off.

Then landed in the marsh.

After hunting for food for a bit he flew to the dock.  Two very little ones landed with him.

Here is an Egret in the back yard.  I took it from the back deck.  You can see my dock and canoe.

I was looking over the wall when I took this one.  Click on the picture to see it full size.  Hit the Back button to get back here.

He saw me so flew away.

The next seven pictures are of a small Egret that was just over the wall in the back yard.  So these were taken about 12 feet away from him with my 300mm lens.

I think he was wondering what that clicking sound was.

He caught a couple small fish while I was watching.

He finally saw me and flew away.

Flying low over the marsh, pretty much high tide.

Here is a view from the back deck.  You can see the main waterway and four Egrets in the marsh.  The docks are from houses behind the trees on the other side of the marsh.

Here is an Egret flying low in the marsh past the light on the dock.
