The bottom is pretty much done.  Made a new cradle frame and flipped it over.  Now I have to design the top.

Trying to design the top. Thinking of two walnut strips down the middle, like the hull.  Then, the strips will weave around the cowling coming together at the walnut strip.

This is the wood that is left.  Long light red cedar on the left. Then dark red cedar.  Then some thinner dark red cedar.  Long thin yellow cedar.  Then white cedar.
