10/5/2012 Below where the three windows are is where the French slider is going.
After the screen room was closed in, I took out the windows. Next it was removing all the wood under the window.
Next I took out the header. I had to remove some wiring to do so.
The French slider is 12 feet wide, so the opening got nearly four feet wider.
Next the new 2-2"x12" header goes in. Now I just need the door. Was supposed to be in today or early next week. I guess it's next week.
10/7/2012 Got the fan in and running and finished all the wiring.
This door goes into the screen room. Eventually it will be part of the Master bedroom so we don't need it. Out it goes!
10/9/2012 Well the door is in. I had to take out the slider on the left in the picture below to get it in the house, it wouldn't fit in the door. Between me and the driver who dropped it off, we got it in in less than 45 minutes.
